We all experience distress in our lives.  And, we all can learn skills to alleviate this distress. Such skills are key components of healing, but they are only the beginning.  Through practice, we can move beyond temporary measures; we can connect with a lasting capacity to influence our experience in an empowered way.

I support people as they work through old habits, traumas, and wounds that   block connection and create a sense of being "stuck."  By using the body to connect with the present moment, my work encourages people to find an expanded capacity to meet and transform the hardships of life. With such expansion, difficult experiences can become manageable, and the joys of life can be felt more fully.

I bring to my clients an eclectic, anti-oppression framework informed by my life experience as trans/non-binary/genderqueer and based in Somatic Psychology, Attachment Theory, and Trauma Treatment.  I have been been a meditation practitioner in the Vipassana tradition for many years.  My style offers clients a calm presence that is at once direct and gentle.
