I love working with teenagers. I enjoy the process of supporting teenagers in understanding who they have already become and influencing who they are becoming. I began working with young people in 2000. Recently, I completed my fifth year working as a therapist in San Francisco public and private schools. There, I helped teens manage LGBT issues, eating disorders, self-harm behavior, substance abuse, suicidality, depression, and anxiety. My style is relaxed yet serious, and I use an eclectic approach that includes expressive arts, talk therapy, and somatic tools.
