Clients I work with tend to:
  • engage in behaviors they know are causing pain but can't stop
  • struggle with symptoms of anxiety and depression, sometimes alternating between the two
  • feel waves of overwhelming sadness, fear, or anger without knowing the exact cause or how to process through
  • report unresolved trauma from the past interfering in their relationships or work
  • have a hard time knowing and expressing their own needs and wants
  • find it difficult to set and maintain boundaries
  • suffer from chronic pain/conditions
  • feel shut down, lonely, or disconnected
  • live with the long term impacts of oppression
  • struggle with gender identity and presentation

    Through their healing many:
  • find and cultivate their inner resilience
  • learn to trust themselves
  • find humor, spontaneity, and creativity in surprising moments
  • learn to use the body as a resource for healing
  • find courage to enter places that were once terrifying
